About this Adding Machine Calculator

auto mode allows you to use this adding machine by keypad-only. Precede a value with +,-,* or / for addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. Default function is +.  If you just enter numbers then hit enter it will add them.

auto mode example:

• Default mode is +
• 25 <enter> 25 <enter> 25 <enter> = 75
  • (25+25+25=75)
• -25 <enter> -25 <enter> +25 <enter> = -25
  • (-25-25+25=-25)
• 25 <enter> *25 <enter> /5 <enter> = 125
  • (25*25=626 and 625/5=125)

This online calculator is useful for keeping a running total or "paper trace" when adding or subtracting money such as to balance a checkbook or doing your taxes or any other calculation where you want to double check your entries. It is not an actual paper tape but you can print the page to save your results. There is a limit of 50 entries.
