Golden Ratio Formulas:

The golden ratio, also known as the golden mean, is the value q where q = (A+B)/A = A/B.

For this calculator we use q = ( 1 + sqrt(5)) / 2, which is rounded to 1.6180339887499. We then round the final answers for A and B to whole numbers. An exact value for q can be researched at MathWorld for Golden Ratio.
