## Uniformly Accelerated Motion

Solve motion problems involving constant acceleration in one dimension, a straight line, with the kinematic equations. Individual equations of motion can be selected from below.

$$s = \overline{v}t$$
$$\overline{v} = \dfrac{1}{2}(v + u)$$

Combining the two previous equations.

$$s = \dfrac{1}{2}(v + u)t$$
$$v = u + at$$
$$v^2 = u^2 + 2as$$
$$s = ut + \dfrac{1}{2}at^2$$

Average Acceleration Equation

Average Acceleration as a change in velocity during a change in time

$$\overline{a} = \dfrac{\Delta v}{\Delta t} = \dfrac{v_f - v_i}{t_f - t_i}$$

Average Velocity Equation

Average Velocity as displacement during a change in time

$$\overline{v} = \dfrac{\Delta x}{\Delta t} = \dfrac{x_f - x_i}{t_f - t_i}$$

Calculate the percent error of the Experimental (measured) value to the Theoretical (actual) value, or

$\text{Percent Error} = \dfrac{| E-T |}{| T |}\times100$
